Job Overview:

We are hiring remote Data Annotators (Image & Video) with backgrounds in photography, graphic design, or video editing to support AI and technology projects. This role involves reviewing, editing, tagging, and organizing image and video data using industry-standard creative tools and Google Workspace.

The position is ideal for students, freelancers, and young creatives seeking flexible work-from-home opportunities while gaining experience in fast-growing AI and data-driven industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Annotate, label, and tag image and video datasets according to defined project guidelines

• Perform basic to intermediate image and video editing to prepare data for annotation

• Review visual content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality

• Edit and enhance images using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom

• Trim, review, and prepare video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

• Maintain accurate records and trackers using Google Sheets

• Create and update documentation using Google Docs

• Organize files and datasets using Google Drive and Google Workspace

• Follow data privacy, confidentiality, and quality assurance standards

• Meet daily and weekly productivity targets

Required skills and tools:

• Background or training in Photography, Graphic Design, or Video Editing

• Hands-on experience with either:

  • Adobe Photoshop

  • Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Adobe After Effects (basic to intermediate)

  • Adobe Lightroom

• Proficiency with Google Workspace, including:

  • Google Docs

  • Google Sheets

  • Google Drive

• Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy

• Ability to follow structured instructions and guideline

Technical & Equipment Requirements

• Must have access to a personal laptop or desktop computer (mobile devices are not sufficient)

• Must have a stable internet connection with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps

• Ability to work consistently online during scheduled availability

Nice-to-Have (Not Mandatory)

• Previous experience in data annotation, AI, or machine learning projects

• Familiarity with metadata tagging or content classification

• Experience handling large volumes of digital content

• Basic understanding of Google Console

Work Schedule & Availability

• Flexible working hours – choose day or night shifts

• Minimum availability:

  • At least 4 hours per day

  • Minimum 5 days per week

• Fully remote – work from home at your own convenience

Compensation & Payment Terms

• Rate: KES 300 per hour

• Engagement: Project-based / Contract

• Payment Schedule: Payments are made every 60 days, after successful submission and approval of the completed projects, for the approved projects.
